It can be inheritated (i think). But soy milk, if you drink it all the time, can cause bumps on your chest (at least I think it was a bump my mom said)Or it may have been something in the hotel.
my friends baby has relux but she didnt spit up and didnt have any real symptoms, however she developed bronchitis becasuse the milk that wasnt getting spit up was going into her lungs. you should ask your pediatrician about it for suggestions ore input. i dont think the eczema has anything to do with it though.oh also, do you sleep your babies in an upright position? this is usually advised for reflux babies to keep milk from going into their lungs.
I have chronic eczema – and unfortunately there is no cure. You can often control it with cortisone cream -1% or 2%. I also try not to wash my hands too often (that’s where my eczema is worst) and I use rubber gloves when I’m cleaning. Also try using unscented, natural soaps, and oatmeal baths (Aveeno makes a great product for this) are very soothing. You can make your own oatmeal for the tub by grinding oatmeal to a powder and putting a half cup or so in the bath. Another thing you can use in the bath is bicarbonate of soda (baking soda).I know what a pain eczema can be. Hope you feel better!
Yes. If you see that your child skin is getting worse then you should keep them with one food per week to see what food triggers their skin to flare up. My son was the same way when I started him on solids. I spoke with his doctor and they suggested I keep with one food per week. My son is now 9 years old and I had to wait till he was 1 years old to get a food allergy test. Turned out that he was allergic to certain foods. Plus, he suffers with eczema.Keep your baby skin well hydrated. Try the aveeno products. They are really great, mild and pretty natural. Stay away from the scented baby lotions and soaps. Use mild and unscented. Dove is really great. Most important do the one food per week.Good luck
Eczema currently has no cure, so you’ll have to try the creams again and they’ll probably take care of it this time. Are they prescription? If not, you might want to see your doctor and get a stronger dose.Your eczema might have flared up if you are using lotions with perfumes or dyes. You might want to try something that’s hypoallergenic, like Aveeno or Cetaphil. When none of that works for me and I’m fed up with it, I use this stuff called Tend Skin, which is basically alcohol and aspirin mixed up together and I apply it to the rash with cotton balls. It burns like hell, but it cleans the area and removes anything that might be causing a flare up. Also, you can try to take some Benadryl since eczema rashes can be a reaction to an allergen. Hope one of these suggestions helps you.
