I have a itchy rash, with very small bumps, mostly red, concentrated mostly on my shoulders and back.
But it is all over my body just not as bad in other places.
But the most irritating place is on my hands and fingers. There are lots of small itchy bumps on the tops of my fingers and some on the plam of my hands.
So can you please tell me what this is if you know,
and if you know any home remedies to dull the itch that would be most appreciated.
You are allergic to something
It’s unusual to get a rash on your palms — there is something called ‘Fifth’s Disease’ that shows up on the palms in the form of a rash. It is prevelent in very young children and their caretakers and sometimes teens. Despite it’s scary name, it’s not a big deal. It could also just be a reaction to something — new laundry detergent? Outside in the weeks recently?
If it gets worse you should see your dr.
In the meantime use benedryl cream. If you want a home remedy you can try baking soda (you mix it with a little water to form a paste) or use oatmeal in the same manner, and put it on the rash but frankly it’s never worked for me and it’s so messy. I would go with the benedryl in cream or pill form.
